Harbor Islands lies within the Broward County Public School System. Students attend Hollywood Central Elementary School, Olsen Middle School and South Broward High School.
Students also attend a variety of excellent private schools in the area.

Harbor Islands Single Family Homes
Commodore Estates is an exclusive enclave of just 29 single family homes, 19 of which are waterfront. The expansive Mediterranean-style residences feature 4 to 6 bedrooms, 4 to 6.5 bathrooms, and floor plans that span 3700 to 4875 square feet.
Edgewater includes 139 homes built between 1996 and 2000. Of those, 35 are beautiful waterfront courtyard homes. The two to five-bedroom, two to four bathroom residences range in size from 1500 to 4000 square feet.
Grand Harbor Estates features some of Harbor Islands newest luxury residences. The four to six bedroom homes were built between 2003 and 2006 and offer a generous 3700 to 5500 square feet of living space and 4 to 6.5 bathrooms. Some of the homes provide direct Intracoastal waterway access with deeded docks.
Harbor Pointe is the newest neighborhood in Harbor Islands. Home to just 28 two-story Mediterranean style residences built between 2002 and 2006, Harbor Point homes can range in size from 3700 to 6700 square feet and include 4 to 8 bedrooms and 4 to 9.5 bathrooms. Seventeen of the homes are waterfront and some front directly on the Intracoastal Waterway.
Harborside is the largest Harbor Islands neighborhood, with 86 single family residences. More than half the homes are on the waterfront, with deeded docks and no fixed bridges to hinder sailboat and yacht access to the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. The one and two story homes range in size from 3000 to 6600 square feet, with 3 to 5 bedrooms and 2.5 to 4.5 bathrooms. Harborside’s homes were built between 1999 and 2008.
The Estates offers luxury waterfront living on Harbor Islands’ most generously sized lots. The 28 homes are all waterfront with deeded docks and feature unique custom Mediterranean design. Built between 1999 and 2002, the homes have three to seven bedrooms, 3 to 7.5 bathrooms and 3875 to 9400 square feet. The Estates is adjacent to the beautiful Joe DiMaggio Park, and it sits on a deep-water canal that leads to the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean.
Harbor Islands Townhouses and Villas
Admiral’s Cove is a collection of 48 townhomes and villas built between 2002 and 2004. Ranging in size from 2150 to 3290 square feet, Admiral’s Cove homes have three or four bedrooms. Admiral’s Cove has its own community pool.
Harborview is a neighborhood of 84 Mediterranean townhomes and villas. Thirty-four of the townhomes are waterfront. All have docks and some have boatlifts. Harborview’s two to four bedroom homes range in size from 1170 to 3350 square feet and were built between 1999 and 2001. Harborview has a private pool in the neighborhood.
